I’ve always had really sensitive skin around my eyes and am VERY particular about my eye makeup removers. When looking for something more natural, I first tried a few brands at a local health food store and they were either unsuccessful at removing my stubborn waterproof mascara or they stung my eyes. I’ve heard of other people using regular coconut oil as an eye makeup remover, which worked well, but it was always a little messy for me. If I needed to get more, I would have to be very careful not to use fingers that had touched my eyes or my cotton pad and it somehow ended up all over my face, haha! I had this fractionated coconut oil on hand for some essential oil rollers that I thought may be a little neater. Fractionated coconut oil is heated to where it stays a liquid, so it’s easier to know how much you’ll need because the solid form will melt as soon as it touches your skin. IT WORKED GREAT! I transferred it to a glass amber dropper container and now it couldn’t be easier to add as much oil as I need to a cotton pad and remove all of my eye makeup. It’s very gentle and doesn’t leave my eyes feeling greasy. I really love it!
